Serengeti Savannah Camp is a semi-permanent tented camp designed to follow the rhythms of the wild. Our location shifts with the seasons, ensuring you’re always positioned at the heart of the action:

• December through March: The camp operates in the Ndutu region, where the calving season draws predators and prey in astonishing numbers.

• June through October: We move to the Central Serengeti, perfectly positioned for exceptional wildlife encounters during the dry season.

This mobility means you’re never far from the wildlife you came to see—whether it’s the Great Migration thundering across the plains or predators stalking the grasslands.

From game drives to full-day explorations, your time at Serengeti Savannah Camp brings you into close contact with astonishing numbers of animals and birds. The Southern and Central Serengeti are renowned for their wildlife density, and our expert guides know exactly where to find the action.

Your chef prepares breakfast boxes, lunch boxes, or both for you to take on your drives—so you can maximize your time in the bush without sacrificing a good meal. Return to camp in the afternoon to find another delicious meal waiting, with wildlife often roaming just beyond the tents.

Comfortable Accommodation in the Heart of the Wild

Serengeti Savannah Camp comprises nine guest tents, a mess tent, and staff facilities—intimate enough to feel personal, yet spacious enough to offer genuine comfort.

The Guest Tents:

• Privacy and views: Each tent is thoughtfully positioned apart from the others and oriented to offer the best possible views of the surrounding landscape.

• Spacious and comfortable interiors: Featuring king or twin-sized beds, quality linens, and a private veranda where you can sit and soak in the Serengeti.

• Attached bathrooms: Quite comfortable, with a shower, wash basin, and environmentally friendly toilet—all the essentials, thoughtfully provided.

The Mess Tent and Lounge:

This is the heart of camp life—a welcoming space where you can enjoy a cold drink, meet and mingle with fellow adventurers, and share stories of the day’s sightings. The atmosphere is relaxed, convivial, and authentically African.

Your camp chef prepares delicious meals throughout your stay—hearty breakfasts, satisfying lunches, and memorable dinners that might be enjoyed in the mess tent or al fresco under the stars. Every meal is crafted to nourish both body and spirit after days filled with wonder.
